My Bengal is a senior cat. This Mousse is perfect for her. Texture is great for her.

My cat loves all flavors of this! I love the convenience of the easy to open container that it comes in! Perfect serving size!

I bought the tuna one, first time buying Gems,, when it was 50% off. Even 2 of my cats who prefer dry food, ate every morsel. They’re expensive at regular price though.

The food has a soft, smooth texture that may appeal to some cats, and the portion sizes are appropriate for one feeding, reducing waste. Also, the “sauce” on top does seem to be particularly appealing (at least it is to my two cats) — although they were more mixed in their evaluation of the pate. I found getting the food out of the container frustrating. I tried squeezing the sides, warming the container in my hand before turning it over, and tapping it on the side of the food bowl (don’t). Ultimately it was best to use a spoon — using a cooking utensil used to safely loosen baked goods like cakes and breads from their pans likely would have been the truly best option, but I wasn’t going there. So if you’re set on achieving the look promised in the carton photography, maybe wait until they work the kinks out on the packaging (a button on top to loosen the food, grippy sides for squeezing, tiny baking-type utensils designed for cat food 😉 ). For me this just wasn’t a great option as my cats didn’t like the food well enough to overcome my frustration with the packaging.

I tried this new cat food, and my cat loves it, but I think the company should change the packaging. It’s very hard to open. Maybe some people might be fine with it, but most won’t. Very hard to pull back the foil. They should have a sampler pack also, I didn’t see or find one. Also a bit expensive for cat food,I’m sure it won’t be popular because of price.
